About Us
Angels for Africa has been making and selling Stained glass items to raise money for schools in the outskirts of Kisumu, in some of the poorest areas in Kenya. In 2021 we have added a fabulous hand-printed advent calendar to our line up.
Sallie is a stained glass artist who started raising money for Africa around 25 years ago. She designs all of the glass items - and produces them with an amazing team of volunteers.
Julie is a printmaker, who has designed and printed the 2021 advent calendar. This calendar has been made possible by awesome donations of time, paper, skills, and more.
Maurice is in charge of keeping the stock and finances under control, with an array of spreadsheets. Important work in addition to his many other practical skills
Volunteers really make everything possible. Without help from these dedicated and talented people, Angels for Africa would not have been able to complete all the projects that is has achieved over the many years! These volunteers make, pack, sell and deliver. They are true Angels!
Donations make a huge difference to the number of projects we can take on. As well as financial assistance people have generously donated coloured glass, tools, and solder.Since inception we have not had to buy glass for this project. Now printmaking paper, ink, and other items have been added to the list. If you wish to donate please contact Sallie at: angelsforafrica@internode.on.net [ask about tax deductions]

The money we raise through sales and donations goes directly to projects at our adopted schools currently Eshikalame Primary School. Angels for Africa has no paid staff, no free fares. Just lots of heart!
We have an ongoing relationship with WORLD YOUTH INTERNATIONAL without whose support we would not be able to complete so many projects in such good time.
